Kara Ann Succoso married Jason Mangone on August 4, 2012, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in New York City (photo below). Kara’s brothers, Ross Succoso ’02 and PJ Succoso ’09, and close friend, Carly Ciarrocchi ’04 were in the bridal party. The couple’s friends, Andrew Cooper’04 and Miranda Ciarrocchi ’09, were in attendance.

Jeffrey Hindes will join Georgetown Preparatory School in Bethesda, Maryland as a full-time faculty member for the 2013-2014 academic year. Jeff will be teaching upper-class Advanced and AP Chemistry. Jeff previously taught chemistry and computer arts at the Friends School of Baltimore while on leave from the Johns Hopkins’ doctoral program in Chemistry.

Hunter Robert Bouchard graduated from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland on May 24, 2013, with a B.S. in History.

2008

Casey O’Connell graduated a semester early from Cabrini College. She was inducted into the Alpha Kappa DeltaSociology National Honor Society and the Alpha Phi Sigma Criminology National Honor Society. Casey made the Dean’s list every year and also was named to the President’s List in 2011.

2005 Christopher Giannini married Elizabeth Anne Lamb on February 9, 2013 at Holy Cross Church, Springfield Pennsylvania. Chris’ brother, Andrew Giannini ’07 was the best man; his sister, Marisa Giannini’03 was a bridesmaid, and William Tancredi’05 was a groomsman. Father Joseph McLaughlin, O.Praem. presided at the nuptial mass. Chris and Liz live in Washington, D.C.

2006 Bryan Colbourn is a United States Marine serving at Twentynine Palms Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in California with 3rd Assault Amphibian battalion as a Platoon Commander.

Alex Daniels is currently a Cadet Second Lieutenant in Air Force ROTC at the University of Hawaii and will graduate and be commissioned in May 2014. Alex is currently studying Meteorology and previously served as the Aloha Chapter President of the American Meteorology Society. He is currently working on a student documentary for the Beneath the Waves Film Festival.

Scott Thomson is an engineer with Facebook at the company’s headquarters in Menlo Park, California. This summer, he spent a week in India with six colleagues investigating the use of Facebook on mobile devices in the country. The trip was featured in a recent article in The Economic Times. Dillon Buckley graduated from Amherst College in May of 2013 with a B.A. in History. While a student, he completed twelve seasons on the Amherst cross country and track teams, serving as a captain in his senior year.

Nicole Repetto graduated from Widener University a semester early with a degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Sports Management. During her time at Widener, she played varsity soccer all four years, and was named co-captain her senior year. She now helps to train the girls of the Player Development Program (PDP) at YSC Sports, which also serves as the training facility of the Philadelphia Union, an MLS Club. Kyle Slowik graduated summa cum laude in the Honors Program from the University of Delaware this May. He majored in International Business with minors in Economics and Spanish. He will start working at a Newtown Square, Pennsylvania investment firm in September.
