Jennifer Lynn Cruz Fagel married Nicholas James Grimm on June 8, 2013, at St. Joseph on the Brandywine Church in Wilmington, Delaware. Jenny’s brothers, Carl ’95, Jonathan ’99 and Christian ’08 Fagel were groomsmen. Jonathan was a lector and Christian was a cantor. Dr. Michael Marinelli’76 was the organist. Father Joseph McLaughlin, O.Praem. presided at the nuptial mass. Jenny and Nick live in Philadelphia where Nick is beginning his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Jenny is beginning her residency in Internal Medicine at Christiana Hospital in Newark, Delaware.

Monica Fiss recently married Alan Burdette at their farm in Maryland (photo below). Gina Kim ’03 served as a bridesmaid. Monica is a graduate of Villanova University and has recently opened her own business, Windswept Stables. It is a horseback riding training facility in Aberdeen, Maryland, that offers training for horses, horse boarding and riding lessons.
Jamie Newitt is the drummer with rock band, the Heavy Pets. The Pets are known for catchy tunes and powerhouse performances spiked with hot electric licks and multi-climactic instrumental solos. Kelli Ann Quercetti Farrell and her husband Ian welcomed their first child, Maximus Scott, born on February 4, 2013. He weighed 7 lbs, 12 ounces. Father Joseph McLaughlin, O.Praem. baptized Maximus on June 15, 2013 at St. Bridget Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Kelli’s brother, Nicholas Quercetti’98 was godfather. Kelli and her family live in Philadelphia, where she is an Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) Resident at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
2003 Britt Eichner graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law and Darden Graduate School of Business with her combined JD/MBA degrees in May 2013. She recently moved back to the Boston area, where she is studying
Engineering from Drexel University in August 2013. He will be starting work at Villanova University this fall as a Visiting Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering. Lindsey Elizabeth Lawless married David Thomas Melchoire on June 22, 2013 at St. Joseph on the Brandywine Church in Wilmington, Delaware. Lauren Lawless ’03 was maid of honor for her sister and also a lector. Matthew Lawless ’08, Lindsey’s brother, was a groomsman. Dr. Michael Marinelli ’76 was organist and soloist. Joseph Kennedy Corsini married Jacqueline Ann Gillen on June 28, 2013, at St. Joseph on the Brandywine Church, Wilmington, Delaware. Jonathan Corsini ’05 was best man for his brother and in the wedding party were Joseph’s brother Connor ’10 and sister Maura Corsini ’14 and Archmere classmate Ian Fidance’03, Joshua Lauer ’03, Patrick O’Neill ’03 and Ryan Washall ’03. Stephen Sweeney’03 and Stephen Wray ’03 were readers. Father Joseph McLaughlin, O.Praem. presided at the wedding ceremony. Joseph and Jacqueline live in England where Joseph has worked since 2010.
Anthony G. “Roddy” Flynn, Jr. graduated cum laude from Washington and Lee University Law School in May 2012. At commencement, Roddy received the Calhoun Bond University Service Award. Roddy currently is a law clerk to Justice Henry DuP. Ridgely of the Delaware Supreme Court. In September 2013 Roddy will join the law firm of Richards, Layton & Finger as an Associate in Wilmington, Delaware Courtney Slowik is starting her fourth year at Touro School of Osteopathic Medicine in New York City. She is engaged to be married on May 24, 2014, in the Catskills of New York.
