Architects for Change is seeking applications from young inspired architecture and design students and fresh graduates in Lebanon to become part of the Architects for Change Community.

WHO ARE WE?
Architects for Change is a youth-led organization, founded in 2014. We aim to contribute to a more inclusive & sustainable world by unleashing the potential of young architects and designers to address challenges in their communities. We work to inspire and empower young creatives to become catalysts of change through design and socio-cultural practices by providing a platform for extra-curricular education, community engagement, and collaboration.

AN UPGRADED PROGRAM 6 MONTHS! This year we are introducing a new program methodology by dividing the year into 2 cycles, each 6-month long. You can now apply to become a member per cycle, February to July, and you can benefit from a variety of activities and projects. It will also be easier for you to commit! Here is a glimpse of what you can expect:
. Monthly exclusive workshops and meetups (1 day/month)* . A monthly public program of talks, events, and trips. . Co-creation sessions to brainstorm and initiate new projects. . Teams and committees working on social and cultural projects. . Access to an exclusive digital network. . Frequent exclusive open calls for design projects and opportunities. * The program will be shared during the Open House event on January 12, 2019.

ELIGIBILITY You are welcome to submit your application if you meet the following criteria:
- you are between the age of 18 and 26 1 (born between 1992 & 2000) - you are a student 1 pursuing a degree in the design field 2 - you graduated between 2016 and 2018 with a degree in the design field 2 - you reside in Lebanon, regardless of your nationality - you are driven, open to new experiences, and a team player - you are a former member and you follow the eligibility criteria
if you are a student above the age of 26, you are eligible to apply. 2 eligible majors: architecture, interior design, interior architecture, graphic design, landscape architecture, product design, urban design, and urban planning. 1
APPLICATION PROCESS
Follow these steps in order to make a successful application and become an official member: 1. Fill and submit the online application form before December 30, 2018 Application: https://goo.gl/BKsNvD 2. Pass a 20-minutes interview with our team (if short-listed) during our Open House Day on Saturday, January 12, 2019 11 am to 6 pm 3. Attend the Inauguration Weekend on: Friday, January 25, 2019 - 6 pm to 9 pm Saturday, January 26, 2019 - 10 am to 6 pm 4. Submit your Cycle Membership Fee 60 USD (90,000 LBP) and copies of your ID and student ID on Friday, January 25, 2019.
TERMS & CONDITIONS 1. Applicants can fill out the application in English, French, or Arabic. 2. Applications must be complete. Applications with missing or false information will be discarded. 3. An applicant can only apply once. Once the application has been submitted, it cannot be edited and it is not possible to fill in another application form. 4. The interviews with the team are mandatory. If an applicant fails to show up to the confirmed interview during the Open House Day, he/she will be disqualified from joining Architects for Change. 5. Attending the Inauguration Weekend is mandatory. If an applicant fails to attend the full weekend without a valid excuse, he/she will be disqualified from joining Architects for Change. 6. The membership fee shall be submitted on the first day of the Inauguration Weekend in cash and the amount is non-refundable. 7. The membership is valid for one cycle, 6 months only, from February 2019 to July 2019. A member will need to apply again in the following cycle and submit a new membership fee, if applicable. 8. The call for members is open twice a year, and it is not possible to join Architects for change after the deadline until the next cycle (August - December). 9. Applicants are expected to respect the confidentiality of all internal activities and shared information by Architects for Change before and after becoming a member. 10. The Membership by-laws will be shared once the applicant has been accepted as a member.
