Mowgli Handpainted type design for the movie “Mowgli�. A letter was given to us, we had to choose a movie and illustrate it in a eye-catching way.

Calligraphy

The assignment was to choose a words and use calligraphy tools. I used one end of a flat 3 cm stick for the words, the other end was carved into a more slanted shape for the design. 9

Illustrated typography of the word “Zombie� was handpainted on paper using water colors and pen.

Each letter is consistent on the theme of the word, which is “Gory” and “Distressing”, shown through the colors and the visual representation.

04 States Illustration The uniqueness of states has always fascinated me. The brief was to show the identity using onnly typography. This was made on paper using watercolors.

Sikkim The exquisite cuisine of sikkim : Noodles, The Ranka Monastery in Gangtok, Lepchas living on the Tendong Hill in South Sikkim dancing, The famous wheat crops and the all knowing Monks.

Rajasthan The majestic camels of Rajasthan, the Ravanhatha music instrument, Beautiful doorways, Traditional Nath of Rajasthani women, Variety of colorful pagaris, The famous craft: Kathputlu, Bandhani dupatta of women.

01 NoTan Exploring the balance between dark and light, The white strips were cut out to play with positve and negative spaces. The compositions below were then digitally recreated, and experimented with text and lines.

02 Montage Recreating different emotions and feelings in a montage series, These are explorations of images and graphic elements . The first image is created based on the theme of travel and the joy of new experiences. The second shows a man full of life, changing, raging in an instant just like the ocean. The third image is a yin to the second montage, showing a peaceful side to the ocean. The last montage shows the different directions one takes and how it affects life.

Pets Brochure A brochure to create awareness about the benefit of adopting pets for the elderly. It includes details about the personality of some of the pets to grab the reader’s attention. The animals are illustrated using color groups (primary, secondary, tertiary)

Activity Book An interative activity book created for age group of 4-11 year old children. The book includes puzzles and trivia to educate about the Amazon Rainforest. Some activities included : “Find these different kinds of frogs”, “Find a way for the Kinkajou to get his food”.

05 Pattern Play “Rush� is pattern making brand focused on making creative and colorful patterns for the playful users. These patterns are inpired by the name and visually shows a feeling of energy and excietement.

Posters were created on the topic “Innovation” , the client wanted a simple yet exciting graphics. The left poster shows a statue symbolising ancient times and we’ve progressed since then. The right poster is a simple play of typography and line drawings.

Magazine COOK IN is a magazine created for students, workaholics, lazy people, first time cooks. Its a print platform for unconventional, easy yet still innovative ways to cook food as well as incorporate guides and tips for healthy eating and food storage. It is a monthly issue that provides quick and interesting recipes. The idea was inspired from noticing the unhealthy habits that students have. due to their busy schedule, the magazine has a section for easy recipes as well as neaby places to go for food. Its the ultimate guide for foodies.

The flatlay photography was based on the theme of students and their eating habits. The composition was created using the tools of their day-to-day lives as well as the food items they usially eat.

The masthead for the magazine was designed to be playful and eye catching. The fonts are quirky and fun.

Ame Skincare Inspired by Impressionism, Ame (soul in french) a ever evolving brand of pure and naturally handcrafted skincare. The identity of the brand revolves around a dream-like and timeless feeling. The style was created in an attempt to capture the pureness of the Sun’s light annd the impressions of nature.

The colors and logotype are minimal and simple. The product range includes soaps, mists and bath salts, all of which are created to show the genuine emotion of the brand.

Natura Natura artists pencils is a unique brand for those who love nature and its coloful hues. You can find the brightest as well as dullest of colors around you, with every season change there is a always new way to be inspired by nature. The box has 24 sets of colored pencils , as well as a illustrated calender reminding us of what each season means to us.

The box has four section boxes inside which open up into a fan, there is a elevation at the bottom to make it easy to chooe colors. The calender is underneath the pencils and can be pulled to reveal three sets of each monsoon. A tote bag is also given with the box.

03 Cafe & Shop Elementary, simply means relating to the rudiments of a subject. The inspiration for the name and the branding came from the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold and silver. The simple philosphy of embracing the asymmetry of life and accepting the beauty in imperfections.

The Menu and product photography was done in natural light.

The ceramics were made in one week, the process included learning how to work with clay and mold the shapes. The next procedure was glazing, which included the selection of colors and giving the products and glossy look. This was followed by baking of the ceramics.

04 Niketan Fashion Niketan is a Fashion Brand inprired from Santiniketan (A small town in Kolkata), which was modelled by Rabindranath Tagore on the principles of art and cultural interchange. The philosophy revolves around the use of light and breathable khadi, earthy tones, a play of Indian motifs with stripes and angular lines.

The collection celebrates Handmade and forgotten crafts of rural IndiaGond Art and Kalighat Paintings. The red, white and black is a reminder to its rich culture and people, making it balanced with beige and grey colors.

Kalighat Paintings were made to be a satire representaion of the current society. The woman is a symolism of a modern rural woman with an Iphone.

05 Unkahi Brandbook Unkahi is a media platform that narrates achievements of women from all walks of life. The branding showcases strong type and colors, with the logo symbolising a bold woman. It was conceptualised on the basis of giving a voice to a variety of woman, and make them stand out.
