Sterling was the highest scoring Shagya stallion on the Shagya inspection in 2006. He is ISG approved and performance tested through dressage. His dam line comes from the highly successful line of Bajar, a well known jumping and eventing sire in EU. His paternal grand-sire Shagal was a 2 time EU Shagya champion. His maternal grandsire, Oman, sired the Tevis and Haggin's Cup winner, Fayette De Cameo. Sterling's offspring have won the USDF West Coast Breeders championship twice, the CA Dressage Society Stallion of the Year for in hand (as a yearling he beat out 2 and 3 yr old warmbloods), USDF Shagya All-Breed award, and one of his daughters is Trakehner approved.
