Kids and their horses, their parents, and their trainers trekked to Oklahoma City in the first-ever Youth Nationals. All came home with a higher sense of fairness in competition, an increased appreciation of the camaraderie with fellow riders, and a renewed understanding of the talents of their horses.

All foals registered from 1991 through 1994 had been parentage-verified prior to registration.
