Watching the Arabian horses graze, it seems clear that the Ponnath Arabian Stud breeds two distinct types: the ethereal beauty of the progeny of the grand matriarch Moniet El Nefous, with the beautiful three full sisters: Moufisa Al Kidir, Bint Moufisa, Monisa Halima (Al Kidir x Moufisa Halima) and their daughters by PVA Kariim, El Thay Khemal Pasha, Halim Al Kadir, Maydan-Madheen, Al Adeed Al Shaqab, and a Maysoun daughter by Malinah, out of a full sister to Imperial Madheen.

Only some years ago, after his second generation took shape Mr. Ponnath had been able to identify the strengths and weaknesses of his Saqlawiyat-family-basis. He started to complete his breeding program by adding the exotic, substantial, doll-eyedoffspring of the great queen Moheba I and accordingly started to use the appropriate stallions on his mares. These are the Duhaymat mares: Maisha II (Mahees by Ruminaja Ali x Massilah, a full sister of Messaoud ), Nedschd Masouda (Ansata Selman x El Thay Maymouna), Mahdeenah (Ansata Amir Zaman x Maareesa, a relative of Messaoud) with their daughters.
