CHOOSE…GREECE! is the first pilot program of the Hellenic Republic focused on the creation of the proper conditions for the inflow of expertise in our country. The program finances companies active in Greece with a view to hiring up to five hundred (500) – in total – 28 to 40-year-old personnel working abroad with excellent knowledge of the Greek language, with at least two years' international work experience, holders of postgraduate and / or doctoral degrees. The ERGANI Information System of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, is the digital space for the interested companies, where they will have access to the ERGANI I.S. through their usernames and passwords already in use. In the ERGANI IS the Interest Form for the program "CHOOSE…GREECE” has already been posted. Inside the ERGANI Interface, businesses can be informed on the terms of the program and declare up to 4 jobs posts, in specific, highly qualified specialty/ ies for active employees outside Greece, following an evaluation and selection process which may lead to a 24-month binding contract between the two parts.
The minimum total gross remuneration of the employee in the program is € 3,000, which the beneficiary can increase based on its financial status. The business is funded for the first 12 months with 70% of the above expense, ie € 2,100, from the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, through joint European financing. The company commits itself to further employing the full-time employee for another 12 months with the same salary and the obligation to maintain the same number of employees in the specific specialty from the date of the official announcement of the program.

Declaring the specialties of the employees that businesses want to hire will make a decisive contribution to the successful and targeted launch of the program, as it creates for the first time a pool of the skills necessary. It is noted that for the overall support of the relocation of foreign workers in Greece, a task force has been set up to coordinate all relevant procedures and parameters of the action.
