A GREAT NEW ADDITION TO ATHENS ART MUSEUM SCENE: the Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation

ZARIFOPOULOS SA proudly undertook the design and installation of Fire detection, Fire extinguishing, Security, Access Control, Artworks Protection, CCTV and Energy Management (BEMS) systems, as well the areas and exhibits Lighting system (KNX), at the stunning new Museum of the Goulandris Foundation in Athens. The museum is housed in a 1920s neoclassical mansion with a ten-storey new extension, five of which are below ground.

Aiming at controlling and managing all of the functions of the Museum’s subsystems through the Control Room, while upholding strict safety requirements and standards, the greatest challenge of the project was selecting the subsystems that would accommodate the design standards, in order to exchange information in an effective and secure way.

This project is a prime example of the company's knowhow and the extensive training of its engineers and technicians, as well as of our experience in similar projects proven by our portfolio and background.
