DESIGNED TO FIT THE REAL LIVES OF ADULT STUDENTS In 1969, Aquinas College pioneered the concept of Continuing Education for students with adult responsibilities. Classes are taught in on-campus classrooms by highly-experienced professors at a small, faith-based college. Schedules are flexible, and AQ is surprisingly affordable. If you’ve been thinking about finishing your degree, advancing in your profession, or even changing careers, Aquinas is dedicated to meeting your needs.

GIVING YOU FLEXIBILITY IN HOW YOU CHOOSE TO CONTINUE YOUR EDUCATION Aquinas has grown and refined its adult programs to make getting the education you need easier and more manageable. You can choose from day, evening, Saturday, and online classes. Choose traditional semesters, accelerated eight-week quadmester courses that meet one evening a week, or directed study courses that meet five times per semester on Saturdays. Majors offered in the evening format are listed on the Aquinas website. Aquinas also offers personal assistance with program planning and scheduling of classes.

INNOVATIVE PROGRAMS & PERSONALIZED ATTENTION While our most popular programs include business and education, CE at Aquinas offers more than 100 majors and minors. A few of our newest in-demand programs include engineering, data analytics, and translation and interpretation. Aquinas professors bring with them Ph.D.’s from places like University of Michigan, Emory University, University of Notre Dame and George Washington University. In fact, 81% of our full time faculty have terminal degrees, and as a result of our 11:1 student–to-faculty ratio, you’ll get plenty of personalized attention. Aquinas also offers a true liberal arts education meaning that along the way you’ll hone your skills as a communicator, a critical thinker, and most importantly, a person of conscience.

Unlike many other adult education programs, CE at Aquinas allows you to take off a semester or two if needed and return when your schedule permits.
