Forsyth Teachers of the Year named FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — Thirty-five educators have been named the 2014 Forsyth County Schools School Level Teachers of the Year (TOTY). These top educators will now move through this year’s TOTY selection process in hopes of being named the 2014 System

Level TOTY. Each school selects its own Teacher of the Year. Based on combined scores from the applications and interviews, three finalists – one each from elementary, middle and high school levels – will be selected and announced Jan.

7, 2014. The selection committee will then observe the three finalists in their classrooms and the System Level TOTY will be announced during the Celebration of Excellence reception on Feb. 14 at the Forsyth Conference Center.

The Lambert equestrian team is made up of 20 riders and is headed by Mary Nicoletti.

Lambert equestrian team wins back-to-back shows FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — The Lambert High School equestrian team was awarded the grand champion trophy for two shows during the weekend of Oct. 26 – 27. On Oct. 26, the team hosted their third annual Ride for Will (in honor of Principal Gary Davison’s infant son who passed away from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome in 2007) and took home first place out of six teams.

The following day, Lambert once again took home the trophy at a show hosted by Rivendell Barn in Gainesville. The Lambert equestrian team is overseen by Mary Nicoletti and currently has 20 riders.
