MARCO MARCO MIAMI COLLECTION DEBUTED at MACY’S MEN MUSIC FASHION during MIAMI BEACH GAY PRIDE LA-based celebrity designer brand Marco Marco launched his Miamiinspired collection during the Men Music Fashion powered by Macy’s at ICON nightclub in Miami Beach. Men Music Fashion is a celebration of men, creativity, fashion luxury brands, musical performances and lifestyle diversity. The fashion show showcased vibrant designs created exclusively for the Miami market and served as the official closing show of the Miami Beach Gay Pride festival. the interview: AMM - Tell us a bit about growing up with your family, any sibling? Were your parents strict? David - I grew up with my family near Lyon. I only have 1 brother, 2 years older than me. My parents contributed so much to my upbringing. They always give me the strength to do the best at school and football (soccer). J’ai grandi avec ma famille prêt de Lyon. J’ai un grand frère de deux ans mon aîné. Mes parents m’ont beaucoup apportés, ils m’ont toujours donné la force pour que je m’épanouisse à l’école et au foot.

AMM - What is the city you now live in like? Is it busy? Lots of opportunity for male models? Or is it quiet and not much to do? David - I live in Lyon, it’s one of the biggest city in France. There is opportunity for male models; I can’t complain but in France the best city to grow up in is PARIS. Je vie à Lyon, c’est une des plus grandes villes de France. Ils y à quelques opportunités pour les models masculins mais PARIS est la meilleur ville en France pour réussir dans ce milieu. AMM - What do you think you have that will help you become a professional football (soccer) player? David - I play football since I was 5 years old and I love football (soccer). Now it’s my job and I’m very happy about this. I think if I’m here now it’s because I always give my best when I’m on the field for my team and because of that people trust in me. Je joue au football depuis que j,’ai 5 ans. C’est ma passion et maintenant c’est mon metier et j’en suis très heureux. J’ai cette chance parce que j’ai des aptitudes et surtout parce que j’ai toujours travaillé dur meme si je ne suis pas satisfait de ma situation J’aimerai jouer au plus haut niveau.

AMM - LOL Why did your friend decide you should go see an agency for modeling in Lyon? David - Lot’s of people always told me that I could become a mannequin because they thought that I had the look and one day they brought me to an agency and I could tell that they thought I would be good at this. Beaucoup de mes proches mon toujours dit que je pouvais devenir mannequin parce que j’ai le physique pour. Il y a un an, une amie m’a amené voir une agence sur Lyon et ca a ete positif. Depuis je suis dans le milieu de la photo. AMM - After a few photo shoots, what was it that you liked most being a model? David - It’s rewarding to be the center of attention. People ask you to be a person who catches the eye that does not go unnoticed, physically speaking. It may appear pretentious, superficial and profit but be aware that there are a lot of passionate people who also want to give the art of emotions as Chrys Bens or Jerome Haffner do, and they emit this passion. Photography is like theater; you also have to transmit emotion to people. It’s difficult but it’s a good game. C’est valorisant d’être au centre de l’attention. Les gens vous demande d’être une personne qui attire le regard qui ne passe pas inaperçu, un exemple physiquement parlant. Cela peut apparaître prétentieux, superficiel, et dans un but lucratif mais il faut savoir qu’il y a beaucoup de personnes passionné qui veulent aussi donner de l’art des emotions comme Chrys Bens ou Jerome Haffner et ils te transmettent cette passion.
