Totara College

Totara Colleges vision is to see our students reaching their God given potential spiritually, academically, socially and physically.

Debbie Max has been providing good stable leadership at Totara College for the past 14 years. She shows a natural affinity with the students and has a deep desire to see them reach their full leadership potential.

Joel Dean, and Sara Fraser are our hard working Student Leaders. They helped recently with a Year 8-10 Camp, including helping the students navigate about 4km of river bed. Our Student Leaders are expected to be role models of the Christian values that our College is based upon.

Totara College Year 7 & 8 students attend an NYLD (National Young Leaders Day) Conference in Palmerston North last year.

Totara College leaders at last year’s World Vision Conference in Wellington. With the help of these leaders Totara College raised over $5000 during the World Vision 40 Hour Famine in 2017.

Sara Fraser, Joel Dean, Matthew Orsborn and Caleb Sutton. Our four House Leaders provide support during House activities such as swimming and athletic sports days. Our House Leaders are also expected to be role modes of Totara Colleges Christian values.

Totara College students attend New Zealand’s national ACE Student Convention in Auckland.

Judah House celebrate a win during Totara Colleges Swimming Sports. As Totara College is an Area School the senior leaders have lots of opportunities to provide leadership for the junior school.

Totara College Student Leaders lay a wreath as part of their leadership responsibilities at Dannevirke’s ANZAC Parade.
