New England is famous for their magnificent fall displays. Head to the Adirondacks in New York where you can take a hot air balloon ride and view the beauty from above. The Adirondacks are also crisscrossed by 12 scenic byways, providing easy opportunities to explore on the ground. Take a road trip to the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee where the park experiences a season of several weeks as fall colors travel down the mountain sides from high elevation to low. The foliage here is so stunning thanks to the amazing diversity of deciduous trees.
