• Mantenimiento de la masa vegetal, con distintos expedientes: “Mantenimiento de jardines de la zona del Camino de Escollera del puerto de Palma”, “Mantenimiento de jardines desde la Terminal de Tráfico Local hasta Muelle Viejo del puerto de Palma”, “Podas de arbolado y talas del puerto de Palma”, “Podas de palmeras del puerto de Palma”, “Sustitución de palmeras en el puerto de Palma”, y “Control de la masa arbórea y labores de jardinería en el puerto de Palma” (en total, 170 mil euros). • “Limpieza de fosas sépticas y bombas de aguas sucias del puerto de Palma” y “Mantenimiento de bombas fecales en el puerto de Palma” (50 mil euros en total). • “Retirada de residuos sólidos del puerto de Palma” (40 mil euros). • “Retirada de residuos oleosos procedentes de embarcaciones de recreo” (15 mil euros). • Lucha contra la contaminación lumínica mediante la “Adaptación del alumbrado público del puerto de Palma” y por ruido (totalizando 18 mil euros). • Otras actuaciones de conservación y mantenimiento para el control de vertidos y lucha contra la contaminación de las aguas abrigadas (apoyo y resolución de emergencias, colocación de barreras anticontaminación ante vertidos incontrolados en las desembocaduras de los torrentes, ...) (10 mil euros adicionales).

Work on the drafting of Interior Contingency Plans for marine pollution due to accidental oil spills in APB ports is continuing with the technical assistance of an important group of specialists including the development of complementary studies concerning environmental, meteorological and oceanographic conditions, after due consultation with Maritime Authorities and the Spanish National Port Authority. The APB has also worked with other organisations and businesses in the field of environmental emergencies; it has worked with the Govern Balear’s General Directorate for Emergencies in the fight against accidental spillages in the watercourses discharging in the ports (such as Na Barbera in Es Portitxol and Sa Riera in Palma) and APB staff have cooperated with personnel from other port organisations and businesses. It also participated in the different crisis committees set up during the different states of alert taking place throughout the year. With the aim of cooperating with similar organisations the APB proposed solutions and informed the relevant authorities on detecting areas with specific pollution problems.
