OPPORTUNITIES

A key deliverable of Sandvik is to provide employment opportunities and pathways for First Nation Australians to build the diversity of our workforce while contributing to the greater understanding of First Nation Australian peoples and cultures.

Sandvik have a Diversity and Inclusion Strategy which now includes reference to First Nation Australians. We are creating a culturally safe organisation and want Sandvik to be an Employer of Choice for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across our Australian sites and locations. Sandvik have committed to employing more First Nation Australian peoples and one of our deliverables is to increase to 4% by the end of this Innovate RAP in 2022. Sandvik is also committed to including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses in our nation-wide supplier list and will make adjustments in our procurement process to ensure Indigenous products headline our product selections.

Sandvik is committed to continually investing in a culturally safe organisation through regular review of policies and processes and training for our employees.
