ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS B.
Step 1. Hammer sharpened end of wooden dowel approximately 12-18 inches into ground. B.
Step 2. Put one leg of overalls, pants, or dress over dowel in the ground.

Step 3. Attach notched arm post to post A with bolt, washer and wing nut. E. D.
Step 4. Assemble wood dowel base together with metal dowel.

Step 5. Stuff burlap head with recycled plastic bags, rags or newspapers... then secure neck to top post with supplied twine. G.

Step 6. Stuff all clothing with recycled plastic bags, rags or newspapers. (add straw as desired) H.

ScareCrowAtion Story As I completed the tilling, fence building, gate assembly and other chores for my wife’s garden last spring she mentioned that she would like a Scarecrow. I gave this little thought being the handyman that I am. But to my surprise this was more difficult than anticipated. As we set out on a Saturday morning to start to gather scarecrow parts and pieces I soon realized this was going to be an all day journey. After numerous craft stores, home building centers and gardening outlets the sun began to fall, I had still not assembled this for her. Sunday morning came and I started to assemble the scarecrow. As my wife sewed eyes, nose and a mouth to burlap I continued to screw together the frame. Around mid-morning we had what resembled a stick figure with a head. As my wife dug through my flannels and old work clothes it began to come alive. Jennifer stuffed her creation with plastic grocery bags, which I thought was ingenious. I began to wonder how to simplify other gardener’s needs and this is where ScareCrowAtions was born.
