Hand coloured optical print of the biblical scene in which Moses orders the Israelites to look at the brass snake on the pole in the middle of the village. The people who would not not look at the pole would have been bitten by poisonous snakes. In the foreground Moses pointing at the brass snake, which stands in the middle of a campsite. Some people look at the snake, while others, bitten by the snakes, lay on the ground. The scene is hand coloured blue, red, orange and green. On the verso in pencil: “Nr. 66”.
