Victorino Duran

Value Added Line Captain

AMC Family Member Since 2019

As one of our newer employees, Victorino has taken on many responsibilities in a short period of time. Within one year he has gone from entry-level repacker to a line captain, where he took ownership of running an efficient line. He adapted to the rollout of a new metric tracking system and led the training program. This required him to transition between day and night shifts so that employees were able to operate and understand the system. • He does whatever it takes to get the job done. He assisted in the training of four new line captains and 14 new repackers. • His amazing positive attitude and energy boosts the moral of anyone who works with him.

Marco Herrera

Order Selector/Senior Trainer

AMC Family Member Since 1997

For the last ten years, Marco has been our senior trainer in the warehouse. He has worked with hundreds of new AMC family members across various roles including order selectors, drivers, sales professionals, and operations management. He teaches new hires about the technology and resources that will guide them to be successful at AMC. • Within the order selector metrics program, he continues to be one of

AMC’s top performing order selectors – always reaching his efficiency goals. • Marco does what is best for

AMC by training new employees and passing along his years of experience and knowledge.

Mayra Muniz

Commodity & Sales Professional Pepper Department

AMC Family Member Since 2009

Mayra’s journey began as a repacker. Early on, her potential shined and she was quickly promoted to an order checker. After a few years, she became an accounts payable clerk. Because she was hungry for more responsibility, she was promoted to a sales assistant and then a sales professional within the Pepper Department. She became curious about herbs and took on commodity buying responsibilities in 2018. Her career development is a direct result of her motivation, passion, and desire to learn. • Mayra’s largest success is tripling herb sales from 2018 to 2020.

• She is constantly thinking out of the box, including creating a new herb package for the holidays. • She “takes care of the Golden Goose” by looking for ways to improve efficiencies.

Beth Okrie

Director of Accounting/Analytics

AMC Family Member Since 2015

After leading our yearly audit at an outside public accounting firm for many years, we recognized Beth’s motivation and pride in what she did and recruited her as a senior accountant in 2015. Her role has grown and she is a valuable resource to many aspects of AMC. Beth’s gift to teach big picture financials shows employees how their performance directly affects the company. She works to be better than she was yesterday and has grown significantly into someone who takes great pride in preparing others for success. • Beth brings a different perspective to six strategy teams where she represents all facets of AMC. • She went above and beyond, working with outside resources to ensure AMC achieved projections on labor, sales, and gross profits during the creation of Market Cuts.

Jesus Santiago

Lead Maintenance Mechanic Market Cuts

AMC Family Member Since 2008

Jesus started as a member of our sanitation team where he grew to be a team leader. His potential allowed him to transition to the maintenance team. Here, he was able to broaden his knowledge of construction, machinery, and maintenance operations. Over the last year, he focused on learning the processing equipment in Market Cuts and now oversees the team as lead maintenance mechanic.

• Jesus manages three maintenance technicians on two shifts.

• He is hungry for knowledge and is always looking to learn. • He takes pride in his work by being passionate and paying attention to details.

Maria Zaragoza

Executive Assistant

AMC Family Member Since 2003

Maria’s career began as an accounts payable clerk. She took on an additional role as the sales assistant for the Tomato Department in 2017. Her vast knowledge of order entry and the importance of coordination between departments were key when she contributed to the development of a new role, in a new segment for AMC, Market Cuts coordinator. Shortly thereafter, Maria was promoted to an executive assistant. • Maria uses her influence as a 17-year veteran of the company to set an example for other employees. She shows how to create opportunities by constantly striving to be better than she was yesterday. • Maria is always willing to do any job, regardless of her title or position. • She plans and strategizes to make the best use of company resources.
