Tarta is an innovative, eco-friendly, waterproof bracelet that is therefore capable of submerging in water and studying its characteristics. is very useful for those who need to dive, for those who need in a quick and easy way to know the characteristics of the water, but also for those who semlicemente love the sea.

Tarta can, for example, measure the ph of the water, its pressure, the degree of salinity, and is able to tell us the types of minerals and the amount of sodium in a given area, and much more...

Three interesting things:

Light absorption: amount of light that a given amount of water can absorb in the unit of time.

Alkalinity: ability of water to neutralize an acid or base so that its pH does not change.

pH: pH has its own scale, ranging from 1 to 14. The pH indicates whether a substance is:

- acidic (pH 1-6),

- neutral (pH 7)

- basic (pH 8-14)

The number of hydrogen atoms in the substance determines its pH. A substance that contains many hydrogen atoms is acidic.

Water pollution:

Another important piece of information that the bracelet can detect is water pollution.

Water pollution is any chemical, physical, or biological change in water that has a harmful effect on those who drink it or live in it. There are several classes of water pollutants:

- the first are disease-causing agents such as bacteria, viruses, and parasitic worms that enter sewage systems and untreated water;

- a second category of water pollutants are oxygen-consuming wastes. When the large populations of decomposition bacteria convert waste, oxygen levels in the water can become depleted;

- a third category of pollutants are water-soluble inorganic substances such as acids, salts, and toxic metals. Large amounts of these compounds make the water unfit to drink and cause the death of aquatic life;

Water can also be polluted by organic residues such as oils, plastics and pesticides, which are harmful to humans and animals in the water. A very dangerous category are suspended sediments, because they cause a decrease in light absorption by the water.
