The initial mock-ups' mold was made by 3D printing, and the mock-ups were repeatedly adjusted after the verification of the thickness of folding surfaces so the overall structure can be folded properly. Also, the problem of liquid leaking has been solved after the tests and get the final version of thickness and width eventually.

There are two problems that make the surfaces of tableware hard to fit with each other perfectly. One is that the edges of different surfaces would bump with each other which make it difficult to fit. The other is that the narrow of the creased surface wasn’t wide enough, and resulted in wrinkles on the surface. Therefore, bevels inside were added on both sides of the round edge in case of bumping together after folding.

Since single-sided crease was unable to fold the tableware into shape. The crease was moved to the middle in order to form the double-sided crease. The width of crease has also been adjusted to fit different surfaces with each other more smoothly.
