Co student qoute: “Anne keeps a good overview of what needs to be done, how it can be done, and what to do, to get all aspects shown. At the same time she is aware of what goes on in the other corner in the group. Anne is good at visualization and setup and especially using icons, pictures or sketches instead of words...” – Nicoline Sofie Jensen, previous team member from 1st semester of the master program.

Sui

1st semester main project of the master program, 2014. The project is made by Anne Østergaard, Mikkel Huse, Nicoline Jensen, Niels Nielsen and Sigrún Víkingsdóttir. Sui is a water cooler concept developed particularly to disabled for KUVATEK. KUVATEK has a vision about delivering products on the disability equipment market with mainstays like quality, sustainability and Danish production. The Sui concept is for the disabled with a main focus on people with Parkinsons disease, arthritis and wheelchair users. Tapping water from Sui does not require any strength and does not symbolize disabilities. Sui is available in two versions, One with a visible dispenser and a hidden cooler box behind the wall or a version where both parts are visible. Furthermore Sui has ergonomic support handles, a splash free drain grate, easy to clean, sustianability and a Danish production. MY ROLE I was scrum master, had the responsibility for the product report (A part of the product report is shown to the right) and set the layout and presentation. Furthermore my role was to made different kinds of illustrations like silhouettes and business supply chains. All team members had a big curiosity in ergonomics in relation to disability which made the project very focused on the details like the handles. 9

10

THE PROCESS The process of SUI was very focused on userresearch - mainly in relation to ergonomic because disabled is depended on the ergonomics. The team tested on their own body and had disabled from the activity center Smedegården to participate in the studies.

TECHNICAL DRAWNING In this SUI project I got the responsibility to make the technical drawnings. SUI mainly contains of standard component expect from the hanger that is the most interesting part and is shown below.

HERMAN Design, Culture and Aesthetics

Mini course as a individual project, 3rd. semester Bachelor 2012

The candlestick Herman combines traditional and innovation through a single & humorous form, that is twofold. The traditional rooted in the oldfashioned method of turning off a light with a cap placed across and encloses the light so that the flame is extinguished. The twist of the traditional is that without the light and turn off method on top it creates a humorous character that exudes a new identity.

TOMATO TECTON

Technology and Tectonic Design course focused on construction and materials, 1st semester of the bachelor program, 2011. This course was individual and the students were only allowed to use cardboard and tomato as construction materials. The focus of the tectonic object is the relationship between form, construction, function and narrative. The tomato has to be an aesthetic and structural part of the construction while it is to be the supporting element, which can not be removed without the construction loses its stability.
