Window To the Other World It is the first abstraction by the author. The artist shows how different the other world is. There is no clue to give a proper description of a new feeling. Actually, everything is different in the other world, not as we naturally see it. There is no “how it actually is” and “how it should be”. The expression of this difference still reveals that very childishness of perception and harmonious sincerity in colour combination similar to those in the other works by the author (besides abstractions). The other world is inexpressible; it is just as kind and wonderful as this one. The power of art is in the facility to express the inexpressive. Окно в другой мир Первая абстрактная работа автора. Художник показывает нам абсолютную инаковость этого другого мира. Не за что зацепиться, чтобы описать новое впечатление. Действительно, в этом другом мире – всё по-другому, не так, как обычно это представляется. Отсутствует «как оно на самом деле» и «как оно должно быть». Но в этой инаковости мы видим ту же детскость восприятия и гармоничную непосредственность в сочетании красок, что и в других (не абстрактных) работах мастера. Другой мир – невыразим, но так же добр и прекрасен, как и этот. В том-то и сила искусства, что оно может выразить невыразимое.

The Call The interference of the fiery-golden ball in the human well-ordered world splits it in two. The curving green of groves fades away; recently amiable the blue of the skies grows darker. Something beautiful, majestic, but at the same time bloody intrudes into this world. The work is very interesting from the point of view of philosophic symbolism; though it permits various interpretations. And the reason is that the call is not the answer. The audience should give their answers everyone their own way. Зов Вторжение огненно-золотого шара в упорядоченный мир человека раскалывает его надвое. Меркнет зеленая кудрявость кущей, густеет еще недавно такая приветливая синева неба. Нечто прекрасное, царственное, но и кровавое вторгается в этот мир. Очень интересная в плане философского символизма работа, допускающая, впрочем, разные толкования. И это, наверно, потому так, что зов – еще не ответ. Ответ должен дать сам зритель. И каждый отзовется по-своему.
