Join lettering pro, designer, and creative director Jason Prater to learn the art of drawing letters. If you're interested in hand lettering as a new addition to your creative tool belt but don’t know where to begin, the answer is right here. You'll understand
the differences between lettering, type design, and calligraphy, and learn how to use your own handwriting as a basis for building beautiful compositions. Beginning letterers needing a few pro tips to help you push your skill to the next level — this class is for you, too. Don't miss your chance to learn lettering from a local expert. Silk Scarf Printing
with Memphis College of Art Age 16+ Learn the foundational skill of block printing – led by paper and fabric artist Meredith Olinger. Participants will learn how to create a block print and apply that print design to textiles. The skill of creating your own handmade textiles translates across multiple fields and designs, so see where it can take you!
