Present “textbook” women’s garments, applying the haute couture techniques learned during the course. Starting with simple ones, such as a top with a basque, demonstrate the skills acquired, from the paper pattern to the worn.

Present a medium-high difficulty dress seen on catwalk, imitating the model and the fabrics used. Study in depth the brand from which it derives, producing a thesis.

This is the final project I have done for my graduation at Istituto Professionale di Moda SITAM. After doing a thorough research on a designer, in my case Yves Saint Laurent, it was required the most faithful tailoring possible in terms of precision and fabric.
