Carers in Hertfordshire: Supporting unpaid family carers and caring friends
At least 1 in 12 people in Hertfordshire are providing unpaid care or help to a relative, partner or friend who has a disability, physical or mental illness, is elderly or misuses drugs or alcohol. You don’t have to cope alone, there is support for you!
Carers in Hertfordshire provides free services to family and friend carers and bereaved carers with a link to Hertfordshire so they are identified, informed, supported and not alone. The charity works with Hertfordshire County Council and NHS services in the county, that provide it with some funding, to support carers.
