(8) That permission to use the Acetylene Gas light is not to imply any liability for damage done by explosion apart from the engendering thereby of fire. (9) That every Generator when fixed, and before use, shall be inspected and passed by a competent man approved by this Association, whose Certificate shall be produced, and in the event of any alteration or the introduction before being brought into use of any type of Generator other than that so inspected and passed, the same shall be approved by this Association's Surveyor and his Certificate produced to the effect that danger has not been increased by the alteration. 19
