It helps employees discover new facets of themselves, of joining together in a way not possible in a regular office environment. Outbound Training (OBT) is usually held in isolated camps in the jungle or hill regions and consists of a wide variety of activities, both physically and mentally challenging like participating in various physical activities such as hiking, rappelling, treasure hunts, and sometimes even more adventure sports like rafting and rock climbing of OBT. Team dynamics, such as communication, the problem of decision making of the solution, and change management focused on these periods. The most significant advantage of this type of training is the combination of the equipment and building self confidence of individuals. These activities help develop, refine and hone the skills of behavior and qualities of an individual and mutual trust and understanding between members of a group. The training helps to generate new ideas and better attitudes, and acts as a trigger to reconsider existing attitudes related to work. This assists them to venture outside the comfort zone while promoting team spirit. No employers and co-workers here, only people who work for the betterment of the team.
