Welcome! Welcome to the Sports and Activity Centre, everyone. We hope you’ll all enjoy 1yourselves this week. It’s a great chance to have a go at a sport or activity you’ve never tried before. We’d like you to choose at least one sport you do by yourself, and at least two 2 sports. Of course, we can do some sports, such as sailing, by 3 or with other people. It depends on the size of the boat! Please remember that when you are doing a team sport, the team is much more important than the individual members. Mike’s BLOG My first Triathlon Hi everyone! I did my first Triathlon when I was twenty-one years old, just 1 before / while I left University. It was a day I’ll never forget. Finally, / First, we had to swim 1.5 km. It doesn’t sound like much, does it? If you try it yourself one day, you’ll see that it’s a lot harder than you may think. We didn’t swim in a swimming pool, but in the open sea! 3When / While I got back to the beach, I was already tired.
