We at Fleming Stock Farms have on offer 6 Yearling Black Angus Bulls and 2 Simmentals from Ricki & Justin and 15 Simmentals from an associate herd of Bill Rothel of Calgary. The Rothel cows have been under our management for the past year. We value all our customers both old & new. Our vision is to provide honest & hard working cattle that get out and utilize whatever pasture conditions are put before them. Our cows thrive off the hard grasses in the summer months and rustle through swath grazing through out the winter months. No pampering – our cows earn their keep. All the bulls being developed are fit not fat. They get plenty of exercise daily and are in good condition with lots of muscle. They won’t have to melt down prior to breeding season. We are feeding them so their performance will peak in your pasture not in the feed pen. Our calves are not crept fed; they are results of their genetics. The bulls are hand fed daily with free choice grass hay and free choice mineral. If you are looking for easy to handle bulls, give these boys a look! EPD’s are only one of many tools in the sire selection tool box. EPD’s must be used with knowledge, along with your other sire selection criteria that fits your cow/calf operation. Not Included in EPD’s, but very important attributes of a breeding bull are; Disposition and Ease of Handling
