Sounds of Anglica
from Baccanalia 2023
by Anglica
There are quite a few things that make Anglica’s parties worth going to: great people, drinks, room temperature food, games and - of course - fantastic music. Bangers after bangers.
So I decided to go on a journey to discover the true sounds of Anglica - songs that remind fellow Anglicans of the organization, the people and the events and also songs that they consider their own theme songs.

The results may surprise you (although, they also may not).
What songs remind you of Anglica?
Here are a few songs that got singular mentions:
Sweet Caroline
I Wanna Dance With Somebody
Metro Spider
Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! ( A Man After Midnight)
God Save The King
Life Is A Highway
And, finally, here’s the top 3.
In 3rd place, we have Africa by Toto A true Anglica singalong classic In 2nd place, we have Hittiputki A guaranteed way to get people on the dancefloor for almost ten minutes In 1st place, It’s Kylie by Akcent. It was always going to be Kylie, wasn’t it? It demolished all other competitors.
It wasn’t even close. How could I put the sheer cultural impact of Kylie in just a few words? It’s an infectious, incredibly catchy dance pop tune and participating in the choreography during the chorus along with your friends is a blast
It’s an absolute anthem, and according to several fellow Anglicans, it’s the song that brings about the spirit of Anglica.
