Chris R. Hilton was born and raised north of Boston. She attended Mass college of Art when she met her husband, Richard who was attending Emerson College. She taught in a suburb of Boston after college for 6 years. They have two sons, Craig born in 1977 and Brad, born in 1983, with two Grandchildren. Richard and Chris built a business and life together for 42 years. Richard died in Nov 2011. They both lead Bible studies as a couple and individually in men and woman’s studies. Chris was an active member of BSF for over 7 years and a BSF leader. She has served as chair on the Mission Team, CAV-Central Africa Vision, and other outreach organizations. Chris currently serves on the Ministry Board as Deacon of Caring, and is a member of the Pastoral Search Committee. She enjoys outdoor activities, art projects, Museums, Travel and highly values time with family and friends. Serving the Lord is a focus and blessing that encompasses her life daily.
Dan was born and raised in Western Michigan. Dan’s religious base was formed as he grew up in the Christian Reformed Church and Calvinist tradition. Dan’s career caused him and his family to move around the world. As a result, Dan was an active member in a number of church denominations. Dan has been a member of First Baptist Church for 8 years. Dan is married to Ann Marie. Their family include a daughter, son-in-law and 2-year-old grandson in MN; a son, daughter-in-law and 1-year-old grandson in ID; and a son who is currently attending Ohio Wesleyan College in Ohio. Dan has been in senior management roles for many years in Life Sciences. Dan has worked with many people and cultures around the world. This experience with diverse groups of people is helpful as an elder at First Baptist Church.
Originally from Henderson, Nevada, John grew up in Nebraska. His career in the US Navy provided the opportunity to experience life in a number of locations in the United States as well as in other countries. To compliment his Navy assignments, he continued his education and graduated from National University in San Diego with a Master’s Degree in Curriculum Writing. John and his wife Candace have been members of First Baptist Church, Yarmouth since 1998. John and his wife have two sons a daughter and five grandchildren. Keeping up with their family and church activities fills the majority of their free time.
