CBRE appointed as property management firm for Wyndham Grand Tower Bahrain Bay. CBRE have been appointed by United Tower Real Estate Development as the property manager and exclusive leasing consultant for the Wyndham Grand Tower, a key project in Bahrain Bay, a masterplanned project in the heart of Bahrain s capital. The landmark development has been designed as a twisting structure rising from an octagonal floor plate, rotating counterclockwise and offers uninterrupted 360-degree views of the bay corniche and downtown Manama, said a statement. Upon completion in H2 2016, the 50storey tower will house the Wyndham Grand Collection. In addition to international hospitality, the property will also offer 20 floors and 26,000 sq.m of modern commercial office space as well as ground floor retail. Trowers & Hamlins expand their Bahrain Teams T&H have announced that Mairéad Finlay-Noonan has been promoted to Partner. Mairéad joined Trowers & Hamlins in 2012 and has extensive experience in all areas of real estate and development work throughout the MENA region, as well as particular expertise in advising both public and private sector clients on social infrastructure projects and PPP arrangements. Her current projects include Bahrain Bay, Villamar and the first ever affordable housing PPP Project in Kuwait. Mairead s promotion is in recognition of the expertise she has developed and the reputation she enjoys among her client base. It also underlines the importance we place on the real estate sector. This promotion increases the partner complement for our Real Estate team in the Middle East to four. Shanti read for the Bar of England and Wales and then crossqualified as a solicitor in 2005. He has extensive experience in arbitration, adjudication, Court litigation and in negotiated settlements. He has worked on international disputes in Europe and the Middle East. Clients have included insurers; architects; employers/developers; contractors and sub-contractors; and suppliers and manufacturers of products and services. Shanti also has experience of non-contentious construction work having advised and negotiated contractual terms for Employer clients and also advised banks on construction contracts and the security offered under such contracts. Michael joined us from Taylor Wessing in 2015. Michael has a broad range of Construction law experience, as well as experience in real estate matters.
