Chapter 05 Configuring the Workspace
2.2 Creating the workspace After having initially created the main workflow folder of the Smart Connection Pro workspace (see section 2.1, Setting up the Workspace Path), all other required folders are created via the Configuration window. To display the Configuration window, do one of the following: From the Smart Connection menu, choose Configuration from the Configuration submenu. Figure 2.1 The Smart Connection preferences screen
From the Smart Connection panel flyout menu, choose Configuration.
Step 3a. Click the button to the right of the Workspace path box. A Choose a Folder dialog box appears. Browse to the folder created in Step 1 and—with the folder selected—click the Choose button. The path of the selected folder will be entered in the Workspace path box.
The Configuration window will appear.
Step 4. Click OK to close the Preferences screen. (For setting the additional Smart Connection preferences, see section 4, Additional Preferences.) Because no scworkflow.xml file exists yet, again the message appears stating that no workspace configuration file could be found. (See figure 1.)
