Member´s Educational Cycle July Edition ‘’Life is like a staircase. You have to go up each stair to reach the top.’’


What is the MEC? This is why the Member´s Development Team presents to you the Member´s Educational Cycle for the month of July. In this, you can find all the opportunities to develop yourself, including conferences and trainings that you can attend to develop your functional abilities.

These trainings are all open to all AIESECers, but we have included the target groups so that you know which ones are really important for your position in the LC. Grab the chance to climb up a stair and increase your knowledge and skills. And remember that in life, you only regret the chances you didn´t takeand this is definitely a chance!


Conference opportunities


Bucharest Planning Meeting • Be a delegate at BPM, the Bucharest Planning Meeting. You want to be there when the course is set for the next term? If you attend, these will be your benefits:

- understand how projects planning works - be there when the local plan is finalized - understand the National strategy and plan for the upcoming term - plan what things are going to happen in the functional area you are active in - apply for a leadership position to get to the next step in your AIESEC experience


Alumni Development


The Alumni Development team will focus on functional knowledge that is important for events. Cold Calling: How do you get a conversation running? What can you/ what can´t you do in a conversation? How do you arrange a meeting? What should you do if there are setbacks? Brainstorming: How do you brainstorm an event? Communication


In the communication area, there will be three very diverse trainings in the month of July. - PR: How to manage the information flow to the public. If you want to know how you need to share information with stakeholders, this is the training you want to attend! - Guerilla Marketing: How can we use unconventional means and small budgets to create a powerful campaign that will make people aware? - Creating effective visuals: How do we make sure that people actually take the time to look at our visual materials and are interested?

Corporate Product Development


Corporate Product Development The CPD team will get more functional knowledge about different sides of organizing a project. - Sales training: How do you become better at Sales? What are major factors that influence Sales? - Project design: How do you create and design a project? How do you make sure that all of the materials have the same message? This training is with the SD team. - Project planning: How do you plan a project? What are important things to think of? This training is together with the SD team. Finance


The finance area will give trainings that help both for the present and for the future: - Life after Finance: What possibilities are there for people in the finance area to work once they decide that they are ready for a new experience? - Budgeting: How do you actually create a budget? Social Development


The Social Development Team will also view creating projects from different sides. - Project design: How do you create and design a project? How do you make sure that all of the materials have the same message? This training is with the CPD team. - Project planning: How do you plan a project? What are important things to think of? Sales


For the Sales area, there will be a focus on how to deal with relationships towards customers. - How to use CRM: How do you deal with Customer Relationship Management properly? - Sales Simulations: How does a good sales talk look like and what preparation does it include? - Know your contracts: What do your contracts actually say? Talent Development


Talent Development Talent Development will cover all different areas, going from how to handle a community to how to create a conference agenda. - PR& Campaigns: How do you plan a campaign, how do you evaluate it? And how does the communication with internal stakeholders work? This training is open for Member´s Development and Member´s Performance teams. - Conference management: How do you create a conference agenda? What is the role of the Organizing Committee during a conference? This training is open for both the Engagement Development team and the Trainer´s Development team.


Talent Development 2 - Community building: What steps are there in building a community? How do you keep the members of a community motivated? What stages are there in a community? This training is targeted at the Engagement Development team. - HR processes: What HR processes exist and how can you implement them in an organization? This training is open to all teams in Talent Development.
