You only need to take a quick look around to see how common mobile devices are in our society, and how much social networking has altered the way we interact with our world. The university experience is no exception. Today’s students expect mobility and interactive access to their professors and academic materials 24-7, regardless of location.

• As a new freshmen you will receive your iPad during welcome week and use it throughout your Freshmen Year Experience (FYE) course, specially-designed general education courses and courses in your major. Upon graduation from AU, the iPad is yours to keep!

• The campus network has been enhanced to accommodate the increase in users and create mobile “hotspots” throughout key areas of campus.

Did You Know? Anderson University was just awarded a major grant from South Carolina to create a “Center of Excellence” to teach K-12 schools how to in the classroom.
