La Escalera, Yeguada Andic, Yeguada Martet and Mater Christi--proved their years of dedication and careful selection. Mater Christi, with a difference of three points (15.500), was crowned World’s Best Breeder for the third consecutive year. Reserve Best Breeder went to Yeguada Andic, with an accumulative score of 12.000 points. This year, SICAB was more international than ever before. Yeguada Batán from Mexico and Yeguada Trujillo from the USA together with Albert Boya Abadía from Spain presented their own horses, as well as others with different brands to compete for the Best Exhibitor Award. In the end, the Award was for recently founded Yeguada Batán that premiered with a score of 19.167 points to attain one of the highest honors. This stud farm has made history as the first Mexican stud farm to earn a World Award. Throughout the season, breeders established training strategies to be as competitive as possible and place their PRE in the highest ranking places.
