Welcome to the Maastricht Week of Entrepreneurship ‘12! This year our theme is about ordinary people doing extraordinary work. In other words - “Change Makers”. Gear up for a 5 day intensive program to get inspired and become a game changing entrepreneur. Our workshops and games will challenge you to think beyond traditional frameworks and map out a plan of how you can contribute to the process of global development. Time for another day full of exciting activities. Get your pen, paper and an open mind- we have lots of lessons for you! We’re going to start the day with an interesting round of workshops: Ray Goodsir will tackle the topic of passion. This workshop will explore how different behavioural preferences can be used as a guideline for where exactly you might want to focus your search for a passion, and what support you might then need to complete the entrepreneurial venture as a whole. Robbert-Willem Dol will discuss connecting dialogue and Fadi Bishara talk about how he matches human capital with venture capital around the globe. Later in the day, Kairos society has an inspiring line of speakers lined up. Leon Simons & Michael Cantalino will talk about solving food challenges in developing countries. Eric van Doorn & Aart van Veller will discuss sustainability & education. Bart Lacroix will tackle crowdsourcing & crowdfunding while Yori Kamphuis will share ideas about perseverance in entrepreneurship. The program will continue with 3 cool workshops: Thijl Klerkx’s story on sustainability at grasroots level; Perspectivity Game (board game maximizing proﬁt and sustainability) and Charanya Chidambaram’s interesting take on the social media world. POWERED BY The Maastricht Centre for Entrepreneurship (MC4E) at Maastricht University serves students throughout Maastricht University by providing opportunities to learn, start-up support, and by helping young ventures grow.
