Welcome to the Maastricht Week of Entrepreneurship ‘12! This year our theme is about ordinary people doing extraordinary work. In other words - “Change Makers”. This workshop will explore how different behavioural preferences can be used as a guideline for where exactly you might want to focus your search for a passion, and what support you might then need to complete the entrepreneurial venture as a whole. Later in the day, Kairos society has an inspiring line of speakers lined up. Leon Simons & Michael Cantalino will talk about solving food challenges in developing countries. Bart Lacroix will tackle crowdsourcing & crowdfunding while Yori Kamphuis will share ideas about perseverance in entrepreneurship. POWERED BY The Maastricht Centre for Entrepreneurship (MC4E) at Maastricht University serves students throughout Maastricht University by providing opportunities to learn, start-up support, and by helping young ventures grow. Our Centre is an autonomous “academic venture” within Maastricht University. The Centre operates with its own budget, and reaches out across the whole university. For our activities, we collaborate with faculty throughout the university who bring their scholarly insights on entrepreneurship, business modeling, new business venturing, open innovation, business planning, entrepreneurial finance and venture capital to our classes and workshops. Regardless where you study (e.g. UCM, FHML, FASOS or SBE) you can always attend our events, enroll in our courses, and/or seek our help in launching your entrepreneurial career.
