Over There and Back Again: Hoosiers in World War I A Beverly A. Martin Storytelling Event It was called the Great War, the World War and the War to End All Wars. Sharon Kirk Clifton presents “Over There and Back Again,” a story about how two Hoosiers, Robert H. Tyndall and Ruth Wright, answered the call of duty for World War I, and then returned home after the war to become leaders in Indiana. This Beverly A. Martin Storytelling Event is part of the Sharing Hoosier Histories Through Stories series sponsored by the Indiana Historical Society and Storytelling Arts of Indiana, Inc.
