Employment Details September 2006- September 2009: Assistant Manager at Shoe Studio Group (Full-time/Part-time) Employment Summary Worked as part of Shoe Collection concession for three years where I joined the company as assistant manager and after taking some time for maternity leave returned as supervisor where I completed many of the same tasks. This role helped me develop my managerial skills and business acumen; I gained an understanding of sales target figures and profit and loss. Roles and Responsibilities  Producing sales figures information using financial data and weekly target figures  Processing paperwork regarding staff commission and working hours  Merchandising concession based upon trends and styles of current season  General admin: producing staff rosters, managing team and witnessing disciplinary procedures  Processing deliveries and maintaining standards in stock room  Operating tills for sales, refunds and for cashing up  Providing high standards of customer service and being knowledgeable about company and products Key Achievements  Maintaining reasonable sales figures despite recession and lack of stock prior to store closure  High levels of workmanship and teamwork were always apparent in store with very little staff absenteeism September 2005—July 2006: Various levels of Product Management at River Island (Full-time) Employment Summary: Working for high street retailer River Island developed my skills in merchandising and highlighting current fashion trends. This role also helped me gain knowledge in how to target customers and how best to promote bestselling lines. Roles and Responsibilities:

Key Achievements:  Quick progression from low level product manager to menswear manager  Being responsible for merchandising or whole departments and often window displays Additional Experience January – February 2011: Work Experience as part of degree course As part of my foundation degree course 10 weeks of work experience was completed at a local independent clothing store. As part of the assignment we were to compile a marketing plan relevant to the store and its customers. Included in the report was feedback from the store owner regarding whether they believed the proposal was relevant, suitable and likely to be successful. (Still to be completed)
