For almost a quarter of a century, the ICOMIA Marinas Group (IMG) has sought to improve the sharing and exchange of information with respect to the development and best practice management of marinas, boat storage facilities, boating access and associated infrastructure throughout the world. Within the membership of IMG are many professionals possessing a wealth of knowledge and expertise. As the key initiative of the IMG Outreach and Support Programme, every second year the Group organises and presents its major industry event, the ICOMIA World Marinas Conference. The 2016 conference programme comprises a unique and intriguing blend of topics. We will learn about and debate the global state of marina business with the best international experts, while speakers from all over the world will give insights into their evolving industries. operational and environmental best practice, ideas to maximise revenue, risk, liability and the tourism market. Those more interested in marina development will learn about masterplanning and the site selection process, as well as learning about designs for superyacht facilities, environmental issues, how public-private partnership finances works and much more.
