Al Mawakeb School Transportation Policies & Procedures

General • School transportation is available to students registered for the bus from KG - Gr. 12 • Students are assigned to their bus upon registration • All students must buckle the seatbelt at all time • Moving around or standing when the bus is moving is not allowed • Students are picked up and dropped off only in the designated location agreed upon with the parents. Parents must draw a map indicating the exact location of residence • Students are not allowed to switch buses without permission from their Head of Section • Students are not allowed to keep the bus waiting in the morning or afternoon • Students are not permitted to leave bus transportation unless parents have notified the respective HOS • Any changes in residence must be reported to the HOS and transportation supervisor • Students who misbehave or violate bus transport rules may be subject to suspension from the bus or face other disciplinary action Note: We ask that all parents report any matters concerning safety or incidents on the bus directly to the HOS and not to address the driver or the helper on the bus.

Use of school bus Students who are not registered in the bus service are not allowed to use the busses. Students who are registered in the bus service are not allowed to switch busses on any day.

Ride with friends Students who are registered in the bus service are expected to go home by bus at all times. These students may not go in their friends ' cars unless their parents have sent notes of consent to the fact or called the respective administrators.
