ABOUT EVERTS

With approximately 100 years of experience in producing, developing and selling latex balloons, Everts offers a high level of expertise, quality and innovation. Everts always aims for the highest quality standards and therefore all latex balloons comply with the EN71 (toy safety) and EN71-12 (Nitrosamines and Nitrosatable Amins) testing.

Keeping in mind that creating decorations could mean using thousands of balloons, Everts designed a decorator range to be as ‘smooth’ and ‘hands-on’ as possible. Their longer necks and soft but firm structure make working with the balloons a comfortable experience.

The balloons have excellent helium and air retention due to a high-tech and sophisticated molecular cross-link which creates a high-quality barrier, reducing gas permeability. Low burst levels are achieved by great elasticity of the rubber film. Long helium flotation or air inflation result in long lasting decorations.

PRODUCTION

Today, Everts operates from a single, modern purpose built plant in Melaka, Malaysia, with automated balloon production equipment, and the latest silk screen printing technology that can print 5 colours or all round / global prints. The lab continuously seeks improvement, with research and development activities on new formulations, shapes and colours ensuring Everts keeps up to date with market needs and changes in the regulatory environment.

The team at Everts has decades of combined experience and is part of the Wonder Group. This builds a strong foundation upon which to grow and continually improve the product range; at the same time keeping up to date with the latest technology. Everts produces over 1 billion balloons annually with capacity for more.

One key prioritiy is balloon safety and in this area Everts is considered to be one of the industry pioneers. All balloons are manufactured using a specially prepared latex formulation that guarantees they meet the latest and stringent standards of the European Union.

SUSTAINABILITY

Everts takes pride and care over the environment and carries out practices to dispose of waste that are safe to our surroundings as well as incorporate a high level of social responsibility in their daily work. To reinforce the commitment to sustainable business practices, Everts recently became ISO 14001 certified and implemented a new, improved environmental management system than enables them to monitor and control environmental issues in a holistic manner.

Additionally, Everts is committed to aligning with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, with a focus on those related to the well-being of employees and the local communities in which the company operates. Everts has invested in the local communities providing people with employment and a source of income, thus decreasing the poverty levels in those areas, and promoting economic growth.

Everts provides full employment and decent work with equal pay and through their strict thirdparty auditing process ensure that they comply with the strictest ethical and social norms. They provide an inclusive environment for employees from all cultural and social backgrounds.

And of course, the products are the main area of focus. All latex balloons are made of natural latex, also known as caoutchouc. This natural and renewable raw material is obtained from the rubber tree. The rubber trees do a great job at filtering CO2 from the air, helping us reduce pollution and are home to many birds, insects, and other animals. And they are not hurt during the extraction process. Our balloons are made without using any fillers, extenders, plasticizers or any cost reducing agents and have excellent helium and air retention.

Despite latex being a natural material, Everts does not support balloon releases! Since 2020, the whole Wonder Group is participating in the campaign initiated by the European Balloon and Party Council (EBPC) to educate consumers about the proper disposal of latex balloons. As part of this campaign, they have introduced EBPC’s “Do not let go” symbol on all products.

Everts also makes sure that latex which is left over from the production process, does not go to waste. They are selling it to another company that uses it for various products, including the underside of carpets.

Standard balloons are available in four different sizes: 5", 11", 14" and 24". With these you‘ll be able to build beautiful balloon decorations, especially organic balloon garlands.

E-Links are great for creating various types of structures without the use of monofilament line or other framing materials. Quick, impressive decorations are easily done, no matter your skill level.

E-Links are available in 6" and 12".

Modelling balloons will lift balloon decorations to another level. Cute animals and characters can be created with three different modelling balloon sizes. Imaginative decorations made with modelling balloons will bring a smile to everyone.

PACKAGING

Everts Decorator balloons are packed in PE foil to guarantee a long shelf life and high quality of the balloons. 30% of the foil is made of recycled material.

For 5“ and 24“ balloons: 20cm x 25cm

Two different packaging sizes ensure optimal placement on the shelf and make perfect use of the available space. A symbol on the front of the packaging highlights that latex balloons are biodegradable.
