Authentic Italian fare, an outstanding wine selection and excellent service come together perfectly at Moscato Ristorante. Guests feel at home in the Tuscan-style space, complete with Italian music, al fresco dining and stunning décor. The menu at Moscato changes seasonally to take advantage of the freshest produce and seafood. Start off with prosciutto e fragole — prosciutto di Parma with warm strawberries preserved in balsamic vinegar. The pasta specials feature tagliolini busere di astaco — fresh homemade tagliolini pasta and a half-pound Maine lobster in its own cooking juices. Try Moscato’s pescatrice limoncello — grilled monkfish drizzled with limoncello liqueur, alongside butternut squash and rosemary, or succulent abbacchio cacciatora — a Colorado lamb rack with Gaeta olives, San Marzano tomatoes and drunken goat cheese. Reservations are suggested. Private parties are welcome and delivery service is available. Free parking is in the rear of the restaurant. Brunch is served on weekends from 11 a.m. Hours: Open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. After finding success with three other restaurants — Moscato, Lusardi’s and Chat 19 — owner Mario Fava opened Chat American Grill in September 2009, to provide casual yet sophisticated dining in the heart of the village on Christie Place. The vibe is always upbeat and cheerful at Chat, and its retro space has two large dining rooms with a fireplace, and an enclosed patio with gas heaters for outdoor dining during the warmer months. Award-winning Executive Chef Jose Leon’s menus feature an exquisite selection of starters, soups and salads, sandwiches, burgers and entrées. The bar includes an award-winning martini list, as well as an extensive menu of beer, wines and cocktails. Thursday is Ladies’ Night, with drink specials at the bar. Sports fans can catch all their favorite games on three flat-screen plasma TVs and an 80-inch HD projection screen. Free parking is available after 6 p.m. Hours: Sunday through Thursday, from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday to midnight.
