Practical Microbiology in Agriculture
“From Field to Table” Modern agriculture is going through changes resulting from the introduction of the Green Deal and the “From Field to Table” management direction. This trend’s aim is to, among others: • produce safer food (what consumers are interested in), • protect the environment and preserve species biodiversity. In this regard, the agricultural production is to be subject to significant restrictions in the use of pesticides and artificial fertilizers, although it is known that they have a clear impact on the yield. This awareness and the above trend put high demands on agriculture in regards to future agricultural production, which is to maintain the current level of yield while maintaining high quality agricultural crops or animal products. TOWARDS REGENERATIVE FARMS Currently, there is a discussion of a new direction of Regenerative Farms, which - with a reduced level of use of pesticides and artificial fertilizers - are to use natural production elements, such as: • rich crop rotation with the use of soil regenerating plants, • higher share and level of use of natural fertilizers, • introducing biological products.

Ampol-Merol Sp. z o. o. puts on the market biological products based 100% on specially selected soil microorganisms. Thanks to them, we create hybrid technologies that effectively fit into the above trends, being an alternative to conventional solutions.
Biological products A high concentration of the most active microorganisms that effectively colonize Polish soil. Synergia® Split tis a biological product containing highly specialized microorganisms. They significantly accelerate the process of humification of straw, leading to an increase in the content of humus in the soil and to activate mineralization of organic matter. As a result, on average, from 100 to 250 kg of NPK per 1 ha is released into the soil, which should be taken into account when determining the level of mineral fertilization, reducing its doses. Synergia® Blue is a multidirectional biological product that simultaneously introduces properly selected fungi and bacteria into the soil. Their task is to cooperate effectively in obtaining additional amounts of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. The product also supports the defense mechanisms of the plants, which consequently deal more efficiently with periods of stress caused by pesticides, weather, or pathogens. The Novobakt line of microbial fertilisers containing freeze-dried bacteria comprise three concrete products. Novobakt AzoFosfo, dedicated to all crops, has the ability to fix free nitrogen from the atmosphere and soil, and to increase the absorption of phosphorus by dissolving previously locked compounds. It clearly contributes to the expansion of the above-ground parts as well as the root system. Novobakt R, in turn, supports the root system and regenerates plants such as rapeseed, cauliflower, cabbage and broccoli. Novobakt PRO influences the growth and regeneration of plantations and boosts plant health.

There are many factors that contribute to optimal yield. One of the most important is the appropriate level of minerals in the soil. That is why Ampol-Merol, by developing practical fertilization programs, meets its customers’ expectations. The magnesium-sulphur fertilizer MacroSpeed® Green is dedicated to all crops, all types of soil, for use throughout the year.
