A day spa only offers a limited selection of services compared to a medical spa, often known as a medi-spa or med spa. While guests can still get massages and facials, a number of the treatments offered will be comparable to those now done in doctors' offices but in a more relaxing setting. Medi-spas are a perfect cross between a typical day spa and a medical clinic since they are less clinical than medical spas used to be but perhaps not quite as plush or lavish as a strictly pampering day spa.
