Amir Akhtar Immigration Services Inc. is a client-centered, professional legal consulting firm that has been providing immigration services since 2010. The firm was founded by Mr. Akhtar who had the vision of creating a different type of law firm, one that focuses on client service and responsiveness.
We are comprised of a team of highly skilled immigration professionals including lawyers, paralegals, immigration consultants, ex immigration officers and legal assistants who are able to assist clients in cases ranging from the simple and straightforward to the complex and challenging. We service all Canadian corporate & individual immigration needs. There are over 60 different types of programs for immigration to Canada; our team is highly experienced in assessing each case on its merits to determine the best route to Canadian residency and citizenship. 2

Amir Akhtar, President and Founder Specializing in Immigration and Human Rights Law Mr. Akhtar is an experienced legal counsel who has been practicing Immigration Law for over eight years in Canada. He has handled well over 1500 cases including immigration admissibility hearings & immigration appeal hearings and has successfully released detained immigrants who have been in the custody of the Canada Border Services Agency. He is also a law professor at Sheridan College and Academy of Learning College and currently sits on the Board of Directors of Malton Neighbourhood Services. 6

David Nguyen Specializing in U.S.A. Immigration Law Mr. Nguyen is an ex-immigration officer from Vietnam. He worked as a Consular Assistant for the United States Consulate General for twelve years. He is currently operating a Canadian Immigration Consulting firm in Vietnam & is an associate at Akhtar Immigration Services Inc.
John O. Grant Handles Judicial Review of Immigration Matters Mr. Grant has been practicing law for over 20 years. He is an ex-hearings officer of the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada. 7
