VACCINE CLINICS

COVID-19 has forced us to change the way we do things, but it hasn’t stopped us from doing our jobs! AMHA has overcome the hurdles of this past year by learning to adapt to these unprecedented circumstances. One of the ways we have adapted is having pop-up vaccine clinics hosted in our senior developments. With the help of Akron Children's Hospital, Summa Health, Cleveland Clinic and the Ohio National Guard, we were able to administer a total of 1,011 vaccines and 186 flu shots. COVID-19 booster vaccines were also administered to 126 residents and staff in November.
