Energy Improvements

Over $6.1 million was spent during 2021 on energy improvements including: LED lighting in 28 buildings, storm and exterior doors installed in 4 buildings and new windows. Not only will these improvements reduce energy costs in the future, but HUD rewards public housing authorities with energy service contracts (such as the partnership we have with Ameresco) through various funding incentives that will continue through 2025.
