Phase 1 First Floor Renovations Central Office Administration Building

After many months of construction, Phase I of the first floor renovations were completed in December, 2021. The design focus was to create more security and COVID-19 friendly areas by separating private and public access and space. This was accomplished by eliminating the need for two staff operated lobbies, enclosing the lobby reception area, and creating an enclosed elevator space. Also, the client interview areas were redesigned from six to eight stations and both private and public restrooms on the first floor were relocated and renovated. Walls were refinished, carpet and tile flooring were replaced in all areas, and new lobby furniture was purchased. These renovations also included additional work to the atrium roof system to eliminate water infiltration discovered during construction.
